Macro images inherently have shallow DOF, so this doesn't meet challenge, imo.

Deep DOF means most of the image is in focus, this is shallow DOF so doesn't fit the theme.

I would add to this...Hey!!! This is not deep DOF! The photo is great, well captured and in free study contest I would surely love it, but if I give it a high score I would't be fair to the others who really tried to do their job with deep DOF, 5
