 Based on the suggestions I have edited the image quickly just to check how the image looks if I would have avoided the white behind the flower.

I like the editing you did. Lighting on the flower is little harsh, details are lost.

Clean exposure. Love the background. Not sure of the placement and compo. I would crop the left part of the BG a bit.
