 not quite happy with the composition of this, but I'm out of time. Besides I drank all the whisky ...

... ah zorks I did it again... fool .... I forgot to change the ISO back to 200 :-(

So for the missed focus challenge you enter a shot that is perfected in every way including the focus? Well it seems you succeed thanks to the concept. Nicely done.

Looks like a whiskey ad. Well taken image, but I'm not sure it works well for the challenge as the subject seems to be the whiskey. 6

I like your take on this challenge - playing on the "missed focus" as the emotion of your photo. But in the photo, it appears the focus is on the Scotch bottle, which appears intentional and appears to be the main subject of the photo, with the person being just the background (sort of like some stock photography, where an object is the primary focus and the person or people are in the OOF background, just to help personify the photo). I am not sure which way was your intention, but that is my first impression on it.

Besides that, good job!!! – I love your play on “missed focus” as an emotion!
