I think, if the girls had NOT been at the rule of thirds line, you would have a much better chance of convincing people your intention was to photograph the rose. There is also too much else in focus to pull this off. 5 for attempting challenge.

For me the main subject it the part in focus and as such the OOF flower is simply a distraction.
