 Shot of one of my son's teammates on deck as he awaited his turn at bat in the on-deck circle this evening. We won, BTW...16 to 3, and my son hit a grand slam in-the-park home run as the last at-bat (and this was his first game back after 7 weeks off with a broken arm). Go Greenville Phillies! :o) (not that I'm a proud mama or anything!)

I understood that from the title. It was an okay photo, but two things probably made me score it a little lower. First was the harsh shadow on his face from the batting helmet...you just couldn't see his face very well. The second thing is that this is a decent photo of the kid, but the angle doesn't give me a sense of waiting. Maybe if I could have seen the batter in the batter's box in the background or something. I don't get an idea that something else is going on that he has to wait for. I hope this is helpful!

He's on deck, waiting his turn to bat. He isn't the batter. Don't know why so many didn't understand that. :o(
