 Back Alley located at Boat Quay Singapore.
This row of shop houses are part of Singapore's heritage and will be preserved.
I thought this would make an interesting shot showing the old vs. the new.
The new modern building belongs to OCBC Bank.

HDR of 5 shots. HDR'd using Photomatix and finally processed with CS3

Generally I don't personally like so much tone mapping, but given the "alley view" it really enhances the contrast between the grungy & crowded and the new skyscraper in open sky. Great shot.

AMAZING contrast here. Your subject is a little close to the building on the left and HDR is a bit overdone. But whatever floats your boat... 6

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

Too processed causing the sky to get gray plus it's not very interesting seeing someone take out the trash
