There's a big empty patch on the top of the subject that does not really work for the composition. I think you should have had your model turn the other way, so the craters were facing the camera. Yep,... that's what you should have done. |

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:
1 - Not HDR in my opinion
3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion
5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion
7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion
10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

not obviously HDR (and yep I know it is) I hope those folks who have no idea how hard it is to take a photo of the moon without HDRing it don't mark you down. This is stunning. |

Fairly regular telescope shot of the moon but I am struggling to see any HDR here.
Perhaps if you have a tracking device you could have taken a long time exposure shot to pick up some stars |
