taken at Chatfield Lake in Littleton, CO. Was trying to get the Harvest Moon - but this was pretty amazing too.

Thanks for all the comments...I am having a bit of trouble in general with noise - so I will start working on that.

Interesting sky. Might be oversat. I like the colorful reflections on the water. The image probably needs another element of interest. The sailboat out there would have been very useful, if it had been much closer.

Comes off very soft and grainy, I'm afraid. At 123k, you also had a lot more overhead on the file size. Thought I see no obvious artifacts, using less compression might have helped squeeze a little more clarity out of this scene. (Don't worry about it. I'm a bit anal when it comes to compression.) I do like the way you caught the reflection of the orange colors on the water.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

Your photo receives:

5 - although on a technical aspect in any other challenge, this would have received a 3 or 4 from me. Just for the record.
