OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:
Positives: What a scene - certainly isn't something I see every day! The lady's pushing foot is priceless. Your focus is good, you've allowed yourself enough DOF to accommodate all of the area of interest.
Critical stuff: I was a little puzzled - I had wondered why we weren't looking at a slightly earlier time point - thinking the image may have been a little more compelling if we had seen this trio from the front; but I've now learnt that this is out of respect of the wishes of the subjects - great stuff.
Overall: An image with bags of charm. |
