Initially my eyes focus right on all that texture. The wrinkly skin and coarse, bristly hair gives a good indication of what it would feel like. The way you've composed this image, everything pointing down, makes me see a sad sack, like I feel sorry for him.
I'd really like to see his eye because I think I'd see an interesting expression in it and it would be a strong focal point.
I am very glad you left the pink coloring, rather than go grayscale. It adds warmth.
The dof is good, showing lots of detail with good exposure all around.
In the lower right corner, something got in the way and is blurry. It detracts from the picture but not terribly so.
Overall I like this. As I mentioned before, I've had pigs, and I think they're cute. This guy proves it! Good job! |

| Good detail, wonderful texture, and composition, as well as color. I used to have a couple of pigs and can appreciate this. Good luck in the challenge. Grayce :-) |

| Is this one of those you can keep in your, not mine, home? Some how that skin just doesn't look like something I would want to cuddle up next to on the couch and pet, like my cat or dog. The skin looks kinds rough, and - if you can understand this - looks like it stinks. This picture comes alive. Good 8. Has good photographic skills but doesn't make me love the pig. PTL |
