Just reading for the first time, Two in the Far North by Margaret Murie. Gives me an appreciation of where you live. Big Lake seems to be pretty far north. Nice photo, by the way. Hope the surgery works to relieve your pain and enable your mobility.

| this is a wonderful image the bear is showing a nice behavior and all the distractions of the scene have been minimized. |

| I prefer this one to the Free Study submission, more of the bear, no distracting sky. I am sure the plant blur in front dissuaded you, but this is a nice image. |
