Sensational sky, but that's about all. A feeling of tilt to the horizon, whether real or imagined, and at best an indistinctness of foreground doesn't help with the challenge thing - there may well be extraordinaryily deep dof, but you haven't really shown it. I would personally have tried to lighten some of the sky away from the sun - you already have the contrast with the brighter part, and the extreme top of frame seems to serve no useful purpose compositionally. |

gorgeous sky, wonderful colours, lots of drama... the structure on the right is a bit distracting, and unbalances the horizon a little bit. the deep depth of field isn't completely apparent either, i'm afraid. but still, striking image. 6. |

It's a beautiful sunset with a perfect sky and ploeasing colors. I'd remove most of the bottom silhouette as that vast black area overpowers the sky. NOt a terrific example of deep DoF without something closer and in focus. |

Cool light and colors...seems a bit dark...I don't know if that shape in the forground adds to this...
Really neat how the light seems to burst out of the clouds.
Cool photo. |
