| Hey, that's my frog! Right now he is living on Cotinus 'Grace.' And now I have his name too. (Would that more of my schooling consisted of herpetology). |

| Lovely image. I didn't vote in this challenge because the collection looked sort of boring. :) Anyway you did a great job with this one...capturing a frog and flower. Beautiful dof, color, focus, composition and emotion in the frog. |

First of all I gave this a 7.
Please note DPC is not only an American community, there are people here from all over the world, people whom their science classes doesn't include animals, only books, projectors and maybe computers.
What do you think a frog on a flower would present to them? A frog on a flower :) not related to schools at all.
There is a huge space here to think it is a shoehorn.
It is a point of view, thats said, I think it is a wonderful picture, great macro and lighting .. again, I gave it 7.

| I should have had him in a glass jar or pined to a dissection board. Or even better had him sitting on a handful of colored pencils with an apple and some books with a school bus in the backgroud, I forgot all the cliche elements I wasn't being very creative ;-) |

| whatever.. I'm sure you're getting an unbelievable score, but to me, this is a total shoe-horn.. and yeah, I know what herpetology is.. this has NOTHING to do with going back to school.. it's an opportunity to take a picture of a gorgeous frog on top of a gorgeous flower with probably an awesome lens.. wouldn't it be more challenging to actually try & be creative and do something related to the topic.. so, i'm sticking with the way I voted for everyone.. for me, if this was in a free study or a challenge about frogs or flowers then it would be a 10, but it's not.. so, its a dnmc. i know you're gonna hate me, but i'm being honest and I know that means nothing, but more then that, I'm trying my very best to leave comments to explain why I vote the way I vote and to do so and not be afraid of what comes of it.. |

| It's a really really cool picture & I do appreciate your efforts in getting it to fit in the challenge... but I did knock my score down a bit because I think it was too much of a stretch (but, wow, what a picture!). - 6 |
