Excellent capture!! I also like the way you've captured the water splashes, and the angles of the hind legs emphasize the awkward poses these creatures sometimes assume. |

I am so jealous! Great capture, whatever the ISO.
I'd cheat and dodge the eye area a little; there's actually a little catchlight there you could bring out. I'm a catchlight addict ;-) |

You are blessed to have captured this. I saw a male and female on a road in northern Ontario, by the time I stopped to get a photo, they disappeared into the forest. |

Excellent job getting him so crisp at such a high ISO ... Love the way the water is just parting in front of him .. they are not the most graceful of creatures but very imposing when they are full grown. |

A young male, nice find.
Light is always a challenge with wildlife, seems they are always active when the light is lowest.... one more challenge for the wildlife photographer : ) |

Well, you seem to have done it again. I agree with you that a noisy shot is better than none. But, looking closer, the detail on the Moose and water, considering the ISO 3200, is really very acceptable. I think I prefer this to a pin sharp image. It is real and of the moment, a true capture of wildlife in not the best conditions.
This is going to be tough matching your shots:)) |
