 Hmmm....original...well...anyway it's what I came up with. The set was not too bad. Set the linguine on white poster board on an angle and used a couple of rulers to straighten the top and bottom. Set the farfalle on the linquine. Done. Lit with four energy saving light bulbs in clamp lamps, two above and front and two on either side of the set up. Camera on tripod with timer.

Post:
Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0.
Spot edit dust and about a billion tiny dark spots on the linquine.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Adjust sharpness.
4 crops.
Saved and closed.
Re-opened as NEF in Camera Raw to adjust exposure to brighten changing the exposure from 0 to +0.50 and Vibrance and Saturation from 0 to 5.
Remove color cast.
Adjust color curves.
Resize.
USM.

That was probably a circuitous route and could have just done the color cast and curves. Oh well...gotta go work on my lines shot.

Like the layout, maybe a little more contrast would boost the color and vibrance without distorting it.

I like it, good setup. Lighting is a bit dull. Could use more contrast I think.
