 I cant belive this butterfly let me take this shot! In the wild aswell! this particular species is renound for being very fluttery and difficult to shoot.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Hi and welcome to DPC! I see this is your first challenge and you did very well!

This is a lovely shot and most of the comments I would make have already been made during the challenge. The slightly out of focus wing on the upper right is very distracting to me. But the rest of the shot is amazing considering the circumstances under which it was taken. A slightly tighter crop might also help with the over all feel of the shot and maybe straighten it up just a touch.

Otherwise, excellent capture!

Thanks for the comments im only 17 and just started out at photography any criticisms are excepted and i will use them to make my tecnique more consistant.

Nice butterfly shot, but not quite focussed, mostly on upper right wing. Nice DOF apart from that, although somewhat grainy.

It's a very pretty butterfly, but I've never known them to wait around. ;) I like the detail you got on the "fur"

Extremely lovely butterfly picture. The colors are beautiful. To my mind, though, it wouldn't convey waiting at all except for the title.

Nice colors! I would prefer the background a bit more blurred and abstract though. As it is now, the plants in the background are just slightly out of focus and my eyes and brain keep trying to make out the details making it hard to look at.
