 I Shot this in my makeshift studio (the garage) using 2 AB 800's with umbrellas (1 translucent and one silver). My idea was to capture a noodle trying to escape from a boiling pot of hot water but when I took a few shots while the pot was boiling on the stove, the steam just didn't translate well. So i shot it in the garage instead without a boil. To get the noodle to jump I tied a piece of string onto it and pulled it out of the water quickly while I snapped the shot using a remote trigger. Out of the 200 or so shots I took I liked this the best because of the amount of water that was brought with the noodle.

Replaced color (took out some red reflection in the splash)
Brightness and Contrast Layer
Clone Stamp to remove some random water droplets

Resized and submitted

Prediction?
I really like this shot but who knows....Hoping for a 6.5???

nice , howe did you get the pasta to look like its leaping out of the pan - did you play the photo backwards? Nicely shot.
