I had a photo gig this pass Saturday shooting the 50th wedding anniversary of a friend's parents. I saw this Russian Orthodox church across the street from the venue and went to the edge of the parking lot to shoot it before the festivites began. It was partially cloudy but it being around 1:00 PM the light was very harsh and there were power wires in the way. I was going to with that.
As we were leaving the party, the skies had darkened and the blue look fantastic against the clouds. I had my friend's partner drive across the way and got three shots sans power wires.
