 Drove up to my parents with a view to going to a nearby lake to get some shots for this challenge but whilst waiting for my mother to make a cup of tea I popped doen to the end of the garden to see the cows who are always interested to see people.

I quite liked some of the shots I got to I decied to use this one.
I don't expect it to do very well due to lack of background interest, oh well.

Wow a ribbon

Thanks to everyone who voted for me, I really didn't expect this to do well until I saw the votes start to roll in.

Great shot Will, the blown out sky really makes the cow jump out from the screen. Not bad for one that you thought was going to bomb. Are you sure you didn't cut the cow out in photoshop as another DQ would get me into the top ten? :-)

Great shot, except this is heavily photoshopped. I can see the clipping around the cow used to further blow out the background. Great shot though. Cute cow.

Is it just me or is that one good looking Cow ? No no no - not in that way . . just tall handsome clean cut, looking brighter than the rest of the herd - hoping against hope that a little modelling on the side might save her from ending up in a Steak House somewhere . . and attaching her Moobile phone number to her ear tag so that any other interested photog's can give her a call.

What a gal - what a shot.

Hmmm . . I'm kinda hungry now . .
