to be honest I'm not concvinced this fits a 3rds competition as such but a gorgeous photo, really really captured the emotion in the tiger. 8 btw I ain't no troll when it comes to something of this quality.

First, I love this photo, but I have to say it is getting a lower vote than I would normally give. I simply can't see the rule of thirds here. Your major subject seems to be the tiger. If it only took up 2/3 or 1/3 of the screen I could justify, but the only thing I see here is his eye, which is not the subject just a part of it.
