Hi from the C Club
you asked for your shot in the abstract macro to have an in depth comment from a member of the Critique Club.
First off, great shot. It isn't really macro enough to be called a macro though. Maybe really zooming in on the twisted metal would have achieved this. Also, your first peg is not in alignment with the other pegs and makes the eye go up and down, which does not help the composition.
Your POV is good, and your DOF is good. The only thing I would have done differently in this is the crop. Post processing is great.

To me, it's not a true macro - more of a close-up. However, it's a wonderful find and observation. Most importantly, it's an awesome photo: 9 |

Some finely lit clothespins there. |

an abstract image is not representing or imitating external reality or the objects of nature |

excellent idea...you will have to remember this for "numbers", love the texture and the lines, but IMO it is not "abstract" enough to me...sorry |

I remember in high school that if anyone was caught with "69" drawn on their paper book covers, they'd get suspended. LOL
I really like the tones and graphic feel of this. |
