 I had shot this series for the appliance challenge since it had such a low turnout. But when I was editing it up I realized that it may be a better fit for this challenge. This is a rare foray for me into something other than people. It's a neat pic IMO - but not something that I hold any kind of personal attachment to other than the fact that I took it. It will be quickly forgotten as soon as it leaves my update page. Pleased it is scoring well - but the score will be quickly forgotten as well.

Give me a good portrait challenge. My kids are itchin' to be seen. ;)

A close sense of 'macro' but very abstract. I like this one a lot. Maybe some slight overshapening as seen in the 'jaggies' along the horizontal lines along the center portion. Not that big of a deal though: 9
