Taken at Pullen Park in Raleigh, NC. Very difficult to get anything like what I really wanted, this was the best we could do with the situation. The carousel is in a tiny, dark enclosure, and we couldn't set up a tripod or even stand where we needed to to get the shot I wanted, so we had to make do.
Yep, I know it's not sharp enough, but under the circumstances I feel lucky to have even gotten this!
I really liked the concept of "going for the brass ring", but my husband says nobody under 30 will even "get" it. Nothing I can do about that now, this is the only idea that I had, so will have to live with it!
Oh well, had fun anyway! |

I'm guessing either Terry or Kelli. What a fun idea. Goes perfect with the carousel! |

When I saw this photo I had to search for the blue ribbon, as it was not very prominent. Overall, I find the image to be very busy, and with a lot of distractions. |

Good idea. It's a bit busy. I had to look to see the ribbon reference. I like the processing. |

Interesting shot, nice that it's a bit different from the others I've seen so far, but I don't think you've done the best job of capturing it (excuse the pun).
Feels to me like you've done a whole bunch of sharpening to try and remove the motion blur and it's resulted in a bit of an unusual look to the shot. |
