Blender was positioned on a piece of glass. Camera was tripoded and set to timer. I used an L.E.D flash light to illuminate the blender and my hands. Tricky, as I was alone for this shoot. When I figured I cast enough light, it was turned off. Next, grabbing my multi colour, L.E.D. strip light. Once I found the blender by touch, the strip light was placed inside. Light was turned on and swirled about. Followed by streaking it out side of blender. Used black background around set up. Image was sharpened, cropped, hue change, Raw conversion and resized.

Interesting concept. Love the flowing light. Who needs electricity when you have a magic hand? :D

Interesting idea and a play on words (although hand mixer might make more sense). Not sure I understand why the colors are present. DOF might be too narrow as the focus seems a little soft.

I like this, but the plug should be plugged in or unseen.

There is something about the hand being blended whilst the device isnt plugged in that isn't working for me lol

I can imagine it's difficult to do, but if you'd have held still a little longer and bit more steady, the hand and sleeve wouldn't be that blurry, an invisible plug would make the illusion a bit more plausible, 6
