convert from raw, crop, adjust red colors, sharpen, sfw.
This is one I'll enjoy having on my left page thumbnail area this next week, no matter how it does in the voting.
My little old lady, 13-year-old Sweetie, has just been diagnosed with severe kidney problems, but you'd never know it from her demeanor. Today she posed for (very special) treats and received lots of hugs & pettings as a bonus.
After the shoot? It took her quite a while to give up her position on the modeling drape. Black velvet is NICE.
For anyone interested, Sweetie came to me with that name about 3 years ago after having lived with my friend Judy since kittenhood. She socialized kittens from the SPCA and kept these two. Judy died, so Sweetie and Voodoo came to live with me. They are fabulous companions. And unbelievably communicative.
A note to add that Sweetie went to her final rest on 9/09/09. |

I really like the cat and the pose you got from it. I'm not sure I would call it "sophisticated" any more so than a normal cat, but I do like the color, contrast, sharpness, and the lighting. |

Nicely staged. Focus is good as are the colors just a tad shy of sharpness. |

An elegant portrait that is straightforward in its approach but has impact for all that. Beautifull executed. |
