| if the noise isn't intentional, try a lower iso setting or use a noise reduction software, either trees nor moon are sharp |

| New Moon means no moon though. ETA more specificaly shadowed moon. It's still there and you can see it but it's not bright like that. |

| Very nice use of the trees for the framing of this shot. It seems a bit grainy, and the moon is too blown out. I wonder what it would have looked like with a faster shutter speed to get more detail on the moon while still keeping the silhouettes. Still, I like the simple but effective composition. |

| A new moon is not visible, this is a full moon exactly 14.1 days apart |

| A slightly faster shutter would render more detail in the moon. I also feel that dark empty spaces dont do much for this pic. more is needed in this to keep the interest |

There appears to be a great deal of noise in this, did you use a very high ISO?
Nice idea and composition though. |

Isn't this a full moon, not a new moon? (I can see that
photographing the moon at new moon is rather pointless, though.)
As for the photograph: The moon is certainly too bright and thus
doesn't have any structure. The composition is ok, but not very
exciting. |

| ummm...that's a full moon. you can't really photograph a new moon because it's the dark side of the moon. |
