 Originally, I got out the little point and shoot for this one. I haven't used it since I got my Rebel, and I was AMAZED at the DOF it has!

But it didn't compress well at all, so make down to the fields on not quite as blue a day with Rebel and tripod in hand. The wind and hollyhocks are EVIL, but I think they give a good outline of fore-mid-and background.

The flowers nicely frame the landscape; the contrast between foreground and background works well. A few technical nits: the mountains seem a bit oversharpened and there are some distracting compression artifacts.

Pretty colors, this looks like Ireland or Scotland...am I right? THe colors on those flowers are gorgeous

Wonderful mix of layers from foreground to the mountainous backdrop. Nice dramatic sky too. Composition is good - a very serene and pretty spot.
