 This is a tunnel that leads to Crystal Cove State Park. It runs underneath the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).

You know, it never came to mind that the tilt was too much (or too little). This is very nearly uncropped, I believe I cropped out a bit of foreground that had no detail. I shot it tilted, as it just seemed to fit the excitement and joy of skipping. Plus it looked rather dull in the viewfinder when shot straight.

Who keeps their head straight when skipping?!

In hindsight, I can see that the tilt would not have a general appeal, although I wouldn't change it! ;)

HI from the C Club,

Well, huge congrats on the placement, very good!

Not a lot I can say for this shot, the proccessing is excellent, sharp, clean, clarity is spot on, excellent details and fabulous silhouettes.

The tilt is very extreme, and when looking at it to start of with, it is too extreme. But looking at it longer it grows on you.

My plan was to use a tunnel just like this, here in York; didn't work out though. This is far better than anything I could have taken. Really good work.

I really love the overall shot but not real fond of angle of the tilt, it's just a little to much for my taste and hold it down slightly IMO. 7

Very cute, most have make tunnels dark and fearful and you have taken the other approach. I like it. I like the angle too.

Great high contrast. Loving the tilt. I think it's fun that they are wearing hats, to add to the shapes of their silhouettes.
