| Proud and beautiful! They're quite common around here, but I have a devil of a time getting decent shots of them. Very nice! |

| One of the most common predatory birds especially here in the northeast. They are very opportunistic (bird feeder = Buffet) and very skilled hunters. Nice capture. |

| They've been doing a lot of hunting in my neighborhood lately. I'll catch one someday (with my camera I mean, LOL). |

| Lovely, we have a lot of them on the Cape and I enjoy them and their distinct call ~~ except I must admit when they swoop in and pick off a much smaller bird right at my birdfeeder!. |
