I took this at Ft. Stewart, GA when we were visiting some friends there.

I was fascinated by this bird. It was just sitting there on this helicopter which was part of a display. I was able to run around and take pictures of it from all angles. And it just didn't move. I got a few pics of it looking at me too lol. For this pose, it looks like he is holding his head high, as if proud to be where he was. And with the words in the picture, I had to get this to capture the bird's patriotic moment :)

The part you didn't know is that he'd landed on a gob of very old goo and his little feetsies were totally stuck. He wasn't proud, he was reaching with all his little might to get out of that goo! :-)
