a really cool shot IMO. Would have gone for a tigher squarer crop and included less of the top and more of the falls. (no vote) |

6 - Good opportunity. I like this, but even at this angle, I wish the heron dominated the frame more. Despite the good lines, patterns and flow of the water (including shape of the falls) - and the wood on the right, a variation in cropping may have allowed him/her to come into view more. The subtlety is nice and probably work better at a larger print size, but for this size, the image is dominated by other elements (including the tree). Looks like a nudge rotate up on the left too, or a perspective correction. |
