I thought this was awesome - I gave you a 10. To me, this worked because of the angle of the bird - added to the texture of the background and the shadow of the trees. |

We see so many birds in a day's time, yet we rarely see them deceased. I often wonder why that is? Where do they go to die? Yet when we do see them, they always seem to have their feet neatly curled. Good of you to bury this one. |

You turn shadows into a beautiful setting for your jewel. And the processing is perfect. Posthumous Yellow Ribbon.

Ok, this was hard to view--and was hard to vote on it because it bothered me so much (I voted awhile ago--just adding a comment now.)
There are two things that work for this picture. 1st was your title. I don't usually score on a title, but the title was wonderful. 2nd a foremost was the angle. Getting the shot from above with the shadows of the leaves was brilliant. Actually, now that I'm commenting, I'm moving it from an 8 to a 9--very well done. |

Awesome framing using the shadows and almost spot light on the bird. At first the negative space kind of threw me but as I looked at it I began to see the tree details which absolutely make the shot! |

it is not a clear picture of the bird, a better angle would have helped |
