 This was taken at the Warren County Farmer's Fair - which has an amazing launch of hot air balloons every night. These roly-poly elephants loll on the ground as they are being blown up, must say it's fascinating. Then they lift into the air and are gone.

Anyway, what you are looking at in this shot is the reflection from my special lens filter, which is black plastic and larger than the lens. Usually I hold it against the lens but this time I held it at arm's length and so I captured myself taking the shot. Also, I usually use it with a really fat aperture so that it just makes funky bokeh, but this time I had the 10-22mm on in low light, so got a well-defined shape.

Thank you for the comments, especially those of you who like to see something different, even if they can't quite make sense of it.

dang - I gave this a 7. I thought it was wicked cool that you had the hot air balloon in the lens like that. I don't know what is going on but I love the creativity.
