Hello from the Critique Club!!
Well, wow what can I say, this has to be the most handsome Rooster I have ever seen.
An amazing job on the exposure, I do not think that the whites are blown out, Roosters tend to have very shiny feathers and you have caught all the details in them. The sharpening is excellent, there is a very small halo of white ringing the red, but it is hardly noticeable.
The top may have been cropped just a little more. The border choice was a good one. You used every single inch of your 720 allowance. DOF is very good.
Overall this is an excellent shot and placed very well. |

i think you have a little bit of an over-sharpening problem (the white outline around all the red.) it doesn't really detract from this awesome shot, but it's something to look for next time. in an advanced challenge you can clone it out ;)
this might have more impact if you shot from a little more eye level with the rooster, but as it stands i think it's great. nice job |

| I thought about going to a state park near us where they have some chickens, goats, and other farm animals. My thought was to take some shots of the roaster, but after seeing yours I'm glad I passed, this one is just too good! One of my favorites. Made me think of the old Foghorn Leghorn cartoons. |

| there is some nice detail on the rooster. the feathers seem a bit blown out in areas, maybe due to the time of day when you shot this.. 5 |

| EXCELLENT exposure! Held the whites beautifully and the reds are fabulous as well. Interesting composition. Nicely done! |
