Well, Clark, I can tell you obviously have a great deal of personality and perhaps you should be angry because even Merriam-Webster would deny your pic consideration as a portrait:
por·trait
Pronunciation: \ˈpȯr-trət, -ˌtrât\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle French, from past participle of portraire
Date: 1570
1: picture ; especially : a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face
2: a sculptured figure : bust
3: a graphic portrayal in words
According to this, a portrait of you would have to be conveyed using words. Hmm, I think your artist has done a good job of that, but in this case a picture is not worth 1000 words.
Perhaps your continued crusade for recognition as a person will pay off someday, but in this forum, you are merely a very spirited RV. Happy travels.

An 8 from me since, in my opinion, this does fit the bill and looks good. |

I don't get how this got last place. I think it's a cool shot from a great perspective! People or not...it's a portrait! You can't take a portrait shot of something other than a living thing?? |

Huh? If the subject were vehicles or vacations, I'd give it a 6. I'm assuming the title has something to do with the character played by Chevy Chase? I feel that this is intended as an effort at a creative out of the box interpretation of the topic, but I'm afraid the relevance does not connect with me. |
