The composition doesn't do a lot for me...

Very dark on the top of the photo. I like how you have divided the photo into three, but would have liked to see the middle boat/canoe more centered.

A center shot up the middle of the boat with it's repitition and lines would be very cool. IN this instance, there are to many other elements that confuse and draw away the eye... Maybe try to crop it different or if this is a common scene for you a reshoot would be awesome!

This is an excellent subject but I almost wish it was shot frmo a different angle - there's some drama missing here. You can create drama in several ways in your composition - shooting really close to something and creating a narrow DOF, using lots of negative space to enhance the subject, etc. This one looks more like a snapshot than a photograph. The lighting is extrmely harsh - should try to take more pictures in the early morning or at sunset. 5

This is very busy and the lighting is very flat (sun directly overhead washes out detail). It would have been better to find a spot where you could focus on one kayak and eliminate the distracting background. The eye goes right to the middle kayak because of its placement but there isn't much of interest to see in the all that whiteness. From there the eye wanders but there still isn't that much going on but a lot of harsh shadow and mundane objects (such as the green plastic container at the right edge and the whte kayak support with what looks like a falling down kayakl but it is hard to tell).

Great subject! IMO the whites seem over exposed and the background seems a little cluttered.

It is at a very nice angle and very nice, it is sharpened just enough and not blurry at all. I like it and it fits the title very well. 10

I want to focus on the boats, but my eyes are drawn to the red supports. I'm thinking b/w would help with this, but without seeing it first its hard to say.
