 This pigeon photo was taken at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. One of the homeless people became very helpful to feed the pigeons while I took some photos. Otherwise, pigeons really are the laziest models in the world!

A tie for the Bronze Bear award from me for this lovingly-rendered, strikingly textured image that captures the somewhat muddy, imprecise nature of a pigeon's flight.

Very abstract and interesting. The head is focused quite well which gives this shot much more strength.
