| I find rocks, especailly quartz, hard to photograph, as it is difficult to capture the subtle colour differences, the edges and shapes, well on camera. A great er depth of field to ensure all of the rock is sharp in focus was required, as these photos need to be exceptionally sharp to work. Teh white border detracts for me, and the crop is too close all around the rock. The lighting also is very difficult, with the right side too dark to show off the detail there |
