I had gone out with the intention of finding something for this challenge as I've been doing a lot of street photography lately and definitely didn't want to miss this one!

I came across a colourful demonstration and took about 300 shots of that. I was just on the way home with my camera over my shoulder when I looked across the road and saw the girl walking into this scene!

I snatched the camera up as fast as possible, no time to check any of the settings and fired off about 4 shots before she left the scene. This was the first one!

I was going to stick around and get some more but I figured I would have something good from the demonstration for the challenge, but when I looked at them on the computer I knew straight away this was the one I was going to enter!

Post Challenge:

YAY!!! My first ribbon and a new personal best! Can't believe how tense I was sitting waiting for rollover.

Excellent photo, but the border is too intrusive as it's trying to be a part of the image and drags my attention away from your subject.
