 I'm really unsure of how this did so mediocre, I really thought this would be the first picture of mine to break the 6 barrier. O well though, it was a really tough competition.

The lighting from underneath gives this a dark and almost sin cityish feeling.

Not overly fond of the shadow but I like the detail in the flower.

dramatic lighting is nice, I find the large shadow along the lower edge distracting, I keep trying to figure out its source since it seems to be lacking in cohesiveness with the rose
