Challenge: From Above II (Basic Editing)

I had great plans for our day at Hershey Park. The night before, my wife told me to charge the camera battery. I thought it was already fully charged so I didn't. You can probably guess the rest of the story. I was able to take 11 pictures. Lesson learned. Listen to your wife.
This water slide is actually called "The Vortex". We rode it. It's awesome. I wanted to go again, but waiting 30 minutes for a 30 second ride and second time seemed dumb.
crop, resize, levels, curves, shadow/highlight, color balance, sharpen, shadow/highlight again, canvas size to add border, flip horizontal
I wish I had been able to get more of the entry and exit openings in the crop, but I had to get rid of some ugliness. And the one kid's head blends in to th eother one's crotch. I also don't like how they are about to go out of frame, but that's just the way the ride is configured. I did flip it horizontally. I get more of a sense of speed with them heading to the left than I did to the right. I'm not sure why, but I just did. |

| Wheeeeeeeee! Man, that looks like fun. I love the composition, light, etc. Great timing too! Looks like a fun day of shooting. I really hope this does well. Bumping to a 9 after second look. |

| are you actually above them or just slightly higher than them? I really like the photo but I don't think it is a good pick for the "From Above" challenge. |
