 An image of my daughter modelling in our secret countryside location near our home in South Gloucestershire. Portraiture is not a strong point of mine but I like to experiment now and then, plus my daughter likes to pose.
Eyes sharpened.Face selected, feathered and noise reduced, selection inversed and noise added. Deselected area and added low noise to whole image. Desaturated. Vignetting applied. Highlights and shadows altered.

Nice portrait. Not a lot of grain coming across at this size, and perhaps her eyes are pimped a little more than I like. It's a fine line to walk with the eyes, however.

Just cruising the thumbnails and this one jumped out. The full photo page doesn't disappoint either - the lighting is awesome! Not voting yet, but wanted to compliment you on this image.

There's grain all right, but I think the lighting in her face is to strong to give an overall grainy feeling. Lighting is perfect for other types of pictures, but the grain doesn't add anything special or dominate this photo (which is a very good one, if I may add!).
