 June has been the month of the occasional afternoon thundershower. This was one such afternoon.

And yes, the 10-22 again. Even did a bit of perspective correction and cropping on this one.

this is just amazing. i think this should've been scored much higher. 38/407 is pretty good but there are some higher scoring ones that really don't come close to this.

Absolutely love this photo... only one of 3 that I gave a 9 to in the FS (and I gave no 10s). This image is exceptional, capturing the mood of the scene... the details and balance... the mystery... it's all just so wonderful... and that its Melethia's... icing on the cake. Well done!

I'm having a raging argument with myself over this picture. My left brain says I've seen it before. But my eyes say, no, I have never seen this picture before. In fact, I'm hardly seeing it now. I think it's because there's glass where I don't expect there to be glass, and reflections where I don't expect there to be reflections. This is where my heart steps in and settles the matter. He is a fool for you. Maybe it's the way the processing of the photo goes with the processing of the rain. Maybe it's the creamy shadows. The photo simply has the heart and authority to demand a blue ribbon, so I give it mine.
