contrast, crop, rotate, recovery, color saturation, resizing, black & white conversion, etc.

This is the ceiling of the most important catholic church in Funchal, the city's cathedral. It's over 500 years old. The ceiling has mourish influences, and it is made out of wood carvings in his geometric style.
I remember as a kid goig to church and looking around the building for all its wonders. This is definitely one of them.

i like the pattern and the choice to BW, but when i look i have no reference to the ground up perspective. the image is too flat.
