| I sure would like to know why people voted this lower. I thought it was a great display of the dry season. I really liked the composition and coloring. I guess I don't understand DPC voters. |

| The poor grasshopper looks like it's baking! The strong light coming in from the left and the tones convey heat and dryness wonderfully well. |

| A good capture of the little bastard (forgot the English word for it...). I think another color tone would've worked better, but it's still a good picture. |
