 Pilot is Enda Carrigan - the girliest pilot around.....


Taken on a rather dull featureless day (normal Irish Summers day) - so unexciting I decided to spend time take photo's before I flew myself.

This was my favourite for the day. I liked the intense stormy look, and the way the brighter part of the image gives a nice silhouette.

Yes - there is an added vignette, and quite a strong one. I did this to bring focus to the pilot, and the sky was rather boring anyway. I chose the colours to invoke a feeling of nature closing in - but we are still able to fly free.

Personally i'm not a big fan of adding dark vignetting on photos. Nice silhouette of the pilot though.

Excellent minimalism and the light across the wing is perfect. The toning really suits this well - peaceful, powerful.
