 Fort Worth Museum of Science & History. Night shot with my phone-cam. If it turned out this well with a phone-cam shot, I need to go back and do it with the SLR.

Used some Topaz Clean2, and a bit of Topaz Adjust. Some PSP Clarify and pimped the eye. Also cloned in some texture on the lower jaw. The phone camera has lousy dynamic range and does not handle bright highlights very well.

I'm finding the trick with this phone-camera is to stablize it. Duh.

I wondered how you managed to recover so much detail from the blown highlights. Thanks for the explanation. Quite an improvement, and a fun dramatic shot.
