Interesting detail. The glare was distracting.
04/14/2002 05:18:00 PM
good impact, lighting and composition
04/14/2002 02:55:00 PM
nice watch too bad there is the light at the top

Try tilting the watch to remove the glare, unless you want to get a polarizing filter.

Great macro, the lens flares are a bit distracting,.. maybe a long exposure with softer lighting.

I think uniform lighting across the watch would have worked better

Would have been better without the glare.

The glare distracts from the image, and you're slightly off-center. Maybe a tighter shot with better lighting?
04/12/2002 03:15:00 PM
The flash marks are distracting.
04/12/2002 10:56:00 AM
a little too bright at the top
nice watch

The light at the top of the watch is distacting..other then that it is great. :)

The glare is washes out a lot of detail in this photo, and the watch kinda crooked. I'd try using artificial light and try very hard to line the watch perfectly square with the camera, and zoom in enough to lose the knob or out enough to capture the whole thing. :)

nice shot, but a little too much flash on the top of the watch

It might be just me, but circles don't make me think "curves". To me, a curve is an open-ended, continuous unbounded thing. Technically, this has to have been a tricky shot; use of macro is good, but the lighting glares on the watch case, hiding some of the detail.

great detail.

Nice watch!
04/09/2002 09:22:00 AM
too many reflections off the glass.
04/09/2002 06:17:00 AM
Nice shot but the flare at the top is a little annoying. Plus I think it's more circles than curves

Nice detail. The flash spots are a bit distracting. I'd try to take this picture with more ambient lighting and no flash. If you can extend your shutter speed (and have a tripod or means of steadying your camera) you could do this under normal lighting

two watches! like the other one, i don't quite agree with the bright patch of light.
04/09/2002 01:14:00 AM
Too bad there is so much glare, missing some of the detail because of it. It does seem to be an awesome watch though!
04/08/2002 04:40:00 PM
the bright spot on the face of the watch is a little too distracting, along with the grain from the wood.
04/08/2002 04:05:00 PM
killer! too bad about the reflection in the glass of the flash.
04/08/2002 03:10:00 PM
over compressed or glare? Still not a bad shot.
04/08/2002 08:40:00 AM
The flash flare at the top ruins what would otherwise be a pretty photo.
04/08/2002 07:39:00 AM
I like the subject of your photograph. The light glare near the watch dial is a bit too strong. The photo is a little grainy as well... maybe comes from cropping this segment from a much larger original photograph...

Wow, two of you here have freaky watches
04/08/2002 05:45:00 AM
Good macro. Lighting needs some work to be more diffuse.
