greetings from the critique club!
well, judging from the score and your comments i don't know how much there is to say about this. i think it's a darling photo and very well-done (for whatever you were using it for). the emotion and poses are perfect, as are the costuming. there's definitely a story here and it really draws you in.
the edited version you posted takes care of most of my nitpicks, so there's no need to mention them. overall, an excellent shot!

| i looked thru the friends challenge but didnt vote .. when i came to this i nearly decided to vote on the lot just so i could give this a 10 .. i didnt have time, but thought it would get the blue anyway ... its brilliant coley .. congrats on the HM ..:) |

I was asked by my friend Coley, to try and find his photo in the Friends challenge after finding his Free study. After careful consideration, OK who am I kidding, I saw this one and moved no further. Coley I think this one is yours, it has your style and sence of hunor attached to it, not to mention the dance element. The focus is spot on, the composition and timing are perfect. I'm sure you had fun doing this and it sure looks like the models did. I do hope I'm right and if not well then, the photographer can take comfert in knowing that they are develiping a style of photography that rivels one of the best on this site.
Congratulations on a great shot and I hope you do well with it.

I'm lovin' his whole being... the cheesy smile, the jump, the clenched fists on the flower... but her expression does not say 'friends' to me... more like 'nerd'.
Yet still... this is so well done... 9. 10 if she'd smiled. :) |
