Thanks to all those that commented and voted on my image. I have had a tough few months and found it difficult to come up with even one image for the whole month. I appreciate the comments but had to say that I hate the word "snapshot". Yes it was a snapshot but then so are a huge percentage of the published photos in the world. That is what photography is about, seeing a moment and having the ability to capture it. This shot would not have been there if I had tried to set it up. I wish the voters would look at the entries from this perspective, just because it is not the best set-up, lit, shot with super sharp equipment and planned for weeks ahead, does not mean it is a bad photo. Sorry if this sounds like sour grapes, it isnt, I didnt expect more for the shot than it got so am happy with it, it is just sometimes the comments get to me because they aren't realistic and rub me up the wrong way. There is criticism and constructive criticism.

Sorry for the rant, I had to euthenase my 12 hour foal late last night and am not feeeling in a great place and have taken it out on you guys a bit. My apologies but I had to get it off my chest.

LOL, I would have been in a panic if I was the little dog...OK overall, but the shadow is distracting and so it's more of a snapshot

Cute! I might have tried to shoot this from a lower vantage point to have a more interesting background.

Very cute :-) The drastic differences in dog sizes never ceases to amaze me, and half the time the litte ones don't believe they're little at all!
